Canadian Odd Squad Animal Rescue Foster Application and Waiver

In order to be considered for fostering, you must be of the following:

Ideally, you must be at least 21 years of age.

You understand that all animals are sole property of Canadian Odd Squad Animal Rescue and you are not permitted to destroy, give away or sell any animal that has been placed in your care for foster purposes. You may never cause harm or injury of any kind to a foster animal.

You must be willing, physically and mentally able to provide stability and care for the foster animal in your home.

You must provide a safe, stable indoor home for the dog and if you rent you must have permission from your landlord and or house owner.

All animals that are currently in your home must be spayed and or neutered and up to date on their vaccinations, unless due to medical reasons that your veterinarian can confirm.

You NEED to call your vet and let them know we will be calling to do a reference check on you and your pets and allow them to release your information to us. Please ensure your vet(s) will have the following information: Proof of spay/neuter Proof of vaccinations You MUST call and give your vet permission to speak with us after submitting your application or we will be unable to proceed and finish your application. Please call your vets the same time as submitting this application because our volunteers call and check your references as soon as we can and applications come in.

Please note that we do require all animals in the home to be up to date on their core vaccines, and spayed/neutered for both the health of the animals in our care, and your own personal animals.
